We cater for a wide range of Special Events
Group bookings are welcome, whether it's for formal events or special occasions. We have regular groups that visit the pub for both social and formal meetings including the Wantage Business Breakfast Club, which often hold its breakfast meetings here, as well as an annual Xmas lunch.
We hold also a regular jazz event on the last Wednesday of the month which is always very popular we strongly advise you to get in early.
Throughout the year we also hold special events such as pig roasts.

The Garden
At the back of the pub we have a large beer garden where we hold regular social events such as Pig Roasts, live music and parties.
The garden is popular with local families with its own play park and can be booked for private functions.
The garden also backs on to the Betjeman Memorial Gardens which celebrates the life of John Betjeman who lived in Wantage for many years.
